CCPS Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month!
Clayton County Public Schools is excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in recognition of our diverse Hispanic community! The Hispanic community makes up 20% of the CCPS student population and Hispanic representation is an important aspect of our school system not just during Hispanic Heritage Month, but year-round.
Superintendent/CEO Dr. Morcease J. Beasley invites Dr. Sandra Nunez, Deputy Superintendent of Student Support Services, Ms. Luz Rodriguez Diaz, language interpreter and parent liaison with the CCPS international center, and Ms. Regina Wallace, social studies coordinator, to share opportunities for the community to engage with our fellow Hispanic community members and learn about Hispanic contributions that are not taught in the standards.
